Randall Baker
Randall is a technology industry executive with 20+ years of achievement in the telecommunications and networking industry. He has founded two companies including Tuanis Technology. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur he spent 15 years with AT&T/Lucent Technologies where he held several key marketing, sales, and product management roles. During this period he spent three years on loan to the Atlanta Olympic Committee where he led a technology team in support of the 1996 Olympics. He has consulted numerous companies on business plan development, market strategies and successful project implementation. He has authored several white papers including topics such as xDSL technologies, residential broadband and the internet economy. Randall is a member of the IEEE society and served as a founding member of the BISCI standards committee and the UL certification program. Randall is the founder and past chairman of the Austin Wireless Alliance. He presently serves on the board of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and is the past Vice Chairman of Technology responsible for the development of the technology industry in the central Texas region. He also founded the AusTech Alliance, an executive organization providing leadership and vision to the technology community in Central Texas. Finally, he works with the Capital Area Boy Scouts as a climbing instructor. Mr. Baker received his BS in Business Management from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also holds both Project Management and Product Management certifications, the latter from St. Johns University.
