Before Obama’s State of the Union address a few weeks ago, Thomas Friedman wrote what Inc. columnist Donna Fenn called a must-read column.

In it, he calls on President Obama to “make 2010 what [he] should have made 2009: the year of innovation, the year of making our pie bigger, the year of ‘Start-Up America.’”

He goes on to urge the President to convene our country’s best and brightest innovators and ask them, “What legislation, what tax incentives, do we need right now to replicate you all a million times over?”

So, we’re asking you, new and returning RISE participants, is 2010 the year of Start-up America? What makes Austin a leading entrepreneurial city? What area of entrepreneurship interests you most?

Please take a few minutes today and tell us what you think. You can find the survey link below, and we’ll share the results on this blog in the next few weeks.
