Session Description – HECHO EN AUSTIN

As our ever flattening world brings us closer together, and in the process increases the pace and reach of our endeavors, we must continuously adapt our business practices to remain competitive not only within the roster of local players, but often against an international roster.

For our local Hispanic entrepreneurs, success has evolved from survival in their niche markets, into participation in the mainstream Texas and U.S. economies, and more recently into the playing of a key role across many international markets, particularly south of the border.

During this session we will explore the challenges and opportunities of launching an operating a Hispanic business targeting a mainstream audience in Austin, as well as those of exporting a business model that was crafted in Austin to Latin American countries.
