Session Description – How Can I Offer Big Company Employee Benefits On Small Company Dollars?

The object of this session is to help the entrepreneur learn how purchasing employee benefits works, what are the guidelines required by the State, and what are best practices for small to mid-size employers to control costs associated with their benefits packages.

About the Speaker

Michael Bakonyi

Employer Solutions Group, Managing Partner

Mr. Bakonyi brings more than 14 years experience in the Human Resources services sector.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994, he began his career with Pencom Systems, a consulting and staffing firm. When he left Pencom he was Director of the Southwest Region. He joined Resource Financial Group in 2002, bringing extensive experience in staffing and competitive benefit plans. In August of 2008 he left Resource Financial group to join Employer Solutions Group.

Mr. Bakonyi has extensive experience working with companies on streamlining their administration tasks surrounding employee benefits and the human resource function while designing benefit programs that are a strategic piece of the company’s overall business plan. He also has extensive experience with consumer driven health plans and self-funded health plans.

Mr. Bakonyi is also a Registered Health Underwriter® and a Registered Employee Benefits Consultant®. The RHU® and REBC® designation signifies broad knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive health financing and disability income services to clients.
