A discussion of how entrepreneurs can act as role models, mentors and teachers to help prepare the next generation of principled entrepreneurs to take our places.

About the Speaker

Jeff Sandefer

Acton School of Business, Co-Founder and Master Teacher

Jeff Sandefer started his first business at age sixteen. After earning an MBA at Harvard Business School, he founded Sandefer Offshore, an oil and gas company that generated hundreds of millions of dollars in profits in less than five years. Up until this year, he ran Sandefer Capital, a half-billion dollar energy investment fund. Sandefer recently left the oil business in order to fulfill a pledge he made to himself many years ago — to invest the money he made in order to serve others.

Over the last thirteen years, Sandefer has worked with entrepreneur-teachers to build a nationally acclaimed entrepreneurship program, the Acton School of Business, winning numerous teaching honors in the process.
