What are the basics of Human Resources that start-ups and small companies can’t ignore? What laws and regulations should you be aware of? What are some best practices that all successful companies use – no matter what their size? This course will give a high level overview of the HR policies you need to protect your company, discuss how to hire and retain the best talent, and how to create a company culture of success.

Angela Woodland brings nearly 20 years experience in Human Resources and Executive Coaching in a variety of industries, including technology and finance. As a human resource leader, Angela delivers HR solutions for global sales, IT, technical sales, finance, and marketing organizations. Throughout her career, she has focused on providing strategic human resources solutions and executive coaching to deliver to the client needs. She has extensive experience working with small to medium size companies. Prior to joining Bridgepoint, Angela spent 10 years with Dell, Inc. and Dell Financial Services. She has a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois.
